What Your Regional Lead Offers

The following services are available at NO CHARGE unless otherwise indicated:
  • Monthly newsletter, Region VII News.
    | December | November | October | September | August | July | June | May |

  • Conferences and workshops throughout the region (minimal charges apply).

  • Specialty publications (charges may apply).

  • Current links to information on funding opportunities, legislation, and local training opportunities, offered via Region VII E-News, an active list serve.

  • Customized training and/or technical consultation in the following program areas:

    • Behavior management and conflict resolution.
    • Child/Youth development.
    • Curriculum development for after school programs including disguised learning strategies and strategies which integrate the State Standards and core school curriculum.
    • Strategies for identifying promising practices in after school programs.
    • Sustainability strategies including, but not limited to: building and strengthening collaborations, partnering with critical stake holders, identifying funding sources and program marketing.
    • Evaluation including need measurement, record keeping strategies and methods for using data for continual improvement in program improvement, management and marketing.
    • Online Courses - Learn more.

  • Facilitate visits to our Regional Learning Center and anything else pertaining to After School Programs that you need to provide exemplary services to kids!
