Mid-County Community School Student Body, 2006-07
Mid-County Community School

Nominated by: Sharon Phillips and Candy Hilvers

The "Six Pillars of Character Counts!" mural located at Mid-County Community School could not have been successfully completed without the cooperation and talent of these students: Aaron Arenivaz, Alma Vasquez, Carlos Parra and Jorge Vargas. This Community Service Learning project was sponsored by the Tulare County Office of Education's School Health Community Challenge Grant. The students volunteered their time and conscientiously worked to complete the mural, which is a source of pride for the staff and students. They were dedicated and attentive towards every detail. Their enthusiastic contributions were an important factor in the successful completion of this project. Thanks to these students, a beautiful mural adorns Mid-County Community School.
