Marie Powell, teacher, says, "Jennifer organized a local program entitled Operation Christmas Child, which is an outreach program of Franklin Graham's Samaritan Purse. Last year, Jennifer put together 126 Christmas gift boxes for underprivileged children. Twelve boxes stayed in Three Rivers and the rest went to the Good News Center in Visalia. Unfortunately, it was not enough, and 200 children didn't receive a Christmas box. Jennifer's goal for this year is 500 Christmas gift boxes.
