Getting Involved in CHARACTER COUNTS!
The Tulare County Office of Education regularly offers CHARACTER COUNTS! Trainings at no charge to teachers, parents and community members. Trainings address the academic foundations of CHARACTER COUNTS!, the Six Pillars of Character and implementation strategies designed for schools and community organizations. CHARACTER COUNTS!, while being a character education program of great substance, is extremely flexible and can be easily integrated into both large and small schools. In addition to trainings, short introductory programs are available to school staffs, school boards and community groups.For more information, contact Kelley Petty, CHARACTER COUNTS!
