Safe and Drug Free Schools and Communities / Tobacco Use Prevention Education

Thirty-five primarily small rural school districts combine their SDFSC/TUPE annual entitlements to provide a comprehensive program of prevention education, alternative activities, and community leadership opportunities for their students.

Safe and Drug Free Schools and Communities

The SDFSC staff provides leadership and vision to a countywide alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention program. They assist with the planning of the SDFSC components for Consolidated Applications and with Coordinated Compliance reviews of SDFSC components. Help with coordinating the dissemination and utilization of California Healthy Kids Survey data is provided.

TUPE County Administration

Tobacco Use Prevention Education

The TUPE staff provides leadership and vision to a countywide tobacco prevention program. They assist with the planning of the TUPE components for Consolidated Applications and with Coordinated Compliance reviews of TUPE components. Help with coordinating the California Healthy Kids Survey is provided.
