Tulare County Youth Council

Tulare County Youth Council The Tulare County Youth Council is comprised of a group of students representing high schools throughout the county that work together with school/community liaisons to provide a youth voice to the Tulare County Office of Education Choices Prevention Programs. Youth Council members have opportunities for meaningful engagement with other community groups, policy makers, educators and other youth. The Tulare County Youth Council meets on a regular basis to plan activities, address hot topics, and promote the positive achievements of young people in Tulare County. Youth Council members have many opportunities to develop skills in the areas of communication, leadership, policy making, advocacy, and community engagement. The Tulare County Youth Council is youth driven and led.
