Anjelica Zermeño serves the Tulare County Office of Education as the Mathematics Staff Development Specialist. Prior to joining the TCOE staff, she served as a math coach/facilitator and elementary and middle school teacher for nine years. She is currently earning her Masters in Math Education and completing an Administrative Credential from Fresno Pacific University.
Anjelica's responsibilities include assisting teachers, schools, and districts in keeping informed of current issues in mathematics education including California's Mathematics Content Standards and Assessment, and California High School Exit Exam. She provides staff development and coaching to teachers and administrators in the areas of mathematics standards, assessments, instruction and use of data and technology. In addition, Anjelica coordinates the AB466 Mathematics Professional Development for all Tulare County teachers.
