Jonathan Janzen is the new science instructional consultant for Tulare County Office of Education. He comes to TCOE after teaching eight years at Dinuba High School in the field of A.P. Biology, Biology and Conceptual Physics. Jonathan earned a B.A. from Fresno Pacific College in Biology and is currently earning his Administrative Services Internship Credential at Fresno Pacific University.

Jonathan's responsibilities include coordinating the following student events:

the Tulare County Science and Engineering Fair
the regional Science Olympiad
the Northern California State Science Olympiad
Arbor Day Celebration

He is also responsible for providing Tulare County teachers with updated information on California Science Standards and Framework, as well as the STAR Test for Science. Jonathan is the CISC (Curriculum & Instruction Steering Committee) regional lead for Science and the California High School Proficiency Test Coordinator for Tulare County. In addition, Jonathan provides staff development opportunities on the following topics:
