Staff Development & Curriculum Specialist

Alesha Ramirez Alesha Moreno Ramirez is a spirited educator with a passion for all things language and literacy. She proudly serves alongside her colleagues at the Tulare County Office of Education as a Staff Development & Curriculum Specialist in English Language Arts & English Language Development. Alesha has worked in a county office capacity in the heart of California for more than a decade – teaching students, coaching professional educators, designing curriculum, and facilitating professional learning. Prior to her work in the Central Valley, she served as a bilingual classroom teacher, reading program facilitator, and literacy coach. Alesha is a current member of the state ELA/ELD Collaboration Committee and the CISC ELA/ELD Subcommittee, as well as a co-contributor to the B.E.L.I.E.F. professional learning modules. She’s an avid reader, writer, and lover of words. It is her privilege to serve the public school population, and her desire to use literacy and language education as a vehicle for equity and social justice.
