Jennifer Janzen

Jennifer Janzen Science
Instructional Consultant

Jennifer Janzen is the science instructional consultant for Tulare County Office of Education. Her background includes an M.A. in Education: Administrative Services from Fresno Pacific University, as well as teaching experience in A.P. Biology, Physics, Anatomy & Physiology, Biology and General Mathematics at the high school and middle school level. Ms. Janzen has also served as adjunct faculty for CSU Fresno's Kremen School of Education. Prior to teaching, Jennifer worked at the USDA Fresno ARS (Agricultural Research Station) in the entomology research department.

  • CREEC (California Regional Environmental Education Community) Region 7 Advisory Board Member
  • TCEEC (Tulare County Environmental Educational Council) Board Member
  • California Science League Board Member (Treasurer)
  • WASC (Western Association of Schools & Colleges) County Liaison
  • CABAP (California Building A Presence in Science) Key Leader
  • CHSPE (California High School Proficiency Exam) Coordinator for Tulare County
  • TCAST (Tulare County Accountability Support Team) Member
Ms. Janzen is also responsible for providing Tulare County teachers with updated information on California Science Standards, Framework and State Board adopted science curriculum, as well as the STAR Test for Science.
