Sandi Cahill

Staff Development & Curriculum Specialist

Sandi Cahill Sandi has spent many years in the field of education. She has taught in many different parts of the country in all grade levels from kindergarten to eighth grade. In addition, she has been an instructional coach, Induction Support Provider, and an adjunct faculty member at Fresno Pacific University. Having grown up in Montreal, Sandi was fortunate to have learned to speak two languages. That experience has been instrumental in developing her passion for working with English Learners. In addition, Sandi has a passion for teaching English and helping students to develop their ability to use language as a tool for making meaning. In her current position as an ELA/ELD Staff Development & Curriculum Specialist, she enjoys working with teachers in the field. Supporting teachers in building their knowledge is exciting work and something that Sandi enjoys immensely. Sandi earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Towson State University in Maryland and holds a Masterís degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Fresno Pacific University. Sandi strongly believes that all students can excel and that it is incumbent on educators to provide the support that students need to reach their full potential. By working collaboratively and learning from each other, we all become better.
