SCICON completes new restrooms

For the first time this week, sixth-grade girls visiting SCICON will enjoy an added convenience. Completed this summer, SCICON has constructed a new restroom to serve the upper levels of the girls' cabins in the original Bear Creek Village. The restroom contains six private, tiled showers, four toilets, a dressing area and outdoor hand-washing sinks and drinking fountains. It supports the Lindsay, Visalia, and Dinuba cabins.

"We are delighted that we were able to add this feature to the girls' village," says County Superintendent of Schools Jim Vidak. "I know the staff and the cabin counselors will appreciate the convenience, particularly at night."
