TCOE Blood Drive set for August 22

On August 22, TCOE employees may donate blood at two Visalia locations:

• Doe Avenue Complex, Sequoia Room, 8:30am - 12:00pm
• Burrel Avenue, VTC Room, 1:00 - 4:00pm

For your donation, the Central California Blood Center is offering their "pint for a pint" promotion. Donors will receive a coupon which can be redeemed for a free container of Baskin-Robbins ice cream.

This month, blood collected will support Gracie Chavez, the 3-year-old granddaughter of Margarita Quintana, who works for the School Health Programs. Gracie is battling aplastic anemia.

TCOE usually holds two employee blood drives annually. Through these drives, employees have donated over 400 pints of blood to the Central California Blood Center.
