The next CSET Test is September 18, 2004
for Single Subject Math Teachers.

The Central California Teacher Recruitment Center and The Tulare County Office of Education Teacher Induction Programs now offer CSET preparation classes in:

Mathematics
Science
Language Arts
PE/Art/Music
History
Human Development

Do I need to take the CSET?
All California Multiple Subject teachers must demonstrate subject matter competency. Teachers hired on or after July 1, 2002, may only meet subject matter competency by passing the CSET or MSAT test.

A practice exam is available at www.cset.nesinc.com. Taking the practice test will help to determine the areas in which you will need additional preparation.
