Credentialing

As part of the Human Resources Department, the credentials staff provides credential services including: information, counseling, evaluation of applications and registration of credentials. The credentials staff also provides certificated testing information (CBEST, PRAXIS, CSET/SSAT), issues Temporary County Certificates and processes applications for certification through the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Staff also monitors and provides districts with expiring credential reports and payroll credential audits. Another important function is directing and managing the monitoring of certificated assignments for all school districts in Tulare County.
