The Fair will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to fully-credentialed teachers (by August 2009) or Intern-eligible candidates who have pre-registered on-line by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2009.

Only credentialed and Intern-eligible candidates will be admitted to the Fair.
To be Intern-eligible, you must have passed CSET, or for single subject interns, have a letter of subject matter competency verification from a college or university. If you have taken CSET but have not yet received scores, you may enter with verification that you have taken the exam.

Candidates who do not pre-register on-line will not be admitted into the Fair until 9:30 a.m.

Tulare and Kings Counties' School Districts are seeking applicants for grades K-12, Special Education, and Bilingual K-12 positions who hold a valid teaching credential, or will be eligible for a credential in the appropriate subject area by August 2009.

For admission, bring:
  • A copy of your credential, or
  • A copy of your BA degree and proof of subject matter competency by providing passage of CSET (scores earned within the last five years), or a letter of subject matter competency verification from a college/university, or
  • A letter from a university or district intern program stating eligibility for their intern program.
  • If you have taken CSET but have not yet received scores, you may enter with verification that you have taken the exam.
On-site interviews will be conducted. It is recommended that candidates come with packets completed and duplicated for distribution to local school districts. A complete application packet consists of:
  • A copy of your Ed-Join On-line Application
  • Resume
  • Copies of CBEST, CSET and RICA test results
  • Complete copies of transcripts
  • Copies of Teaching Credential(s)
  • Letters of Recommendation (3 preferred)
