• Lemoore Union High School District is a student-centered secondary school district located in the small rural, but quaint city of Lemoore. The current population is 23,388. The district consists of one comprehensive historic high school, Lemoore Union High School, the pride of the community; one continuation high school, one necessary small school, located on the Santa Rosa Rancheria; one middle college high school, located on West Hills College; a community day school located at Lemoore Naval Air Station and Lemoore Adult School. The district offers students a wide array of course offerings and extra curricular activities which are no longer part of the high school experience in urban areas. Students experience high quality core academics classes to prepare them for college and the world of work. Elective courses from Agricultural Mechanics, Broadcast Journalism, Photography, state-of-the-art technology courses to Fashion Design are offered. Lemoore High supports a nationally recognized Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps. Unit; a National and State recognized Future Farmers of America Chapter; a growing band, instrumental music and choral programs. Lemoore High School has a long tradition of excellence in athletics and offers students the opportunity to participate in a whole gamut of high school sports to students. The faculty and support staff are a diverse, collaborative, and proactive group with the same goal in mind of making the district a great place for students to grow and learn, while at the same time an enriching and rewarding place to work and grow their careers!
