La Sierra Military Academies were established in 2000 and are approved by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges), providing a tuition-free public education and governed by the Tulare County Office of Education. La Sierra provides a rigorous academic education in a strict military environment. La Sierra Charter schools are one of three military academies in California, and offer the following programs:

Supplemental Educational Services
The No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001 enables parents to select supplemental educational services for their children. These services are additional academic instruction provided outside of the regular school day and designed to increase the academic achievement of students attending Program Improvement (PI) schools. Please see the front office for more information.
