Nutrition on the Go!
The Nutrition Network partners with FoodLink for Tulare County to distribute fresh fruits, vegetables, baby food, and juice beverages to families in local communities seeking food assistance. In addition, healthy recipes, nutrition education and physical activity promotion ideas are provided. On select days throughout the month at each distribution site, families may receive free produce. Participants must sign-in and indicate the number of members in their household. However, there is no indentification needed, no paper work required, and no questions are asked in order to receive food items.
