Meeting Areas

Listed below are the indoor spaces available for meetings or activities. A dry-erase easel can be set up in any of the meeting areas. "Post-it"® Easel Pads are available for an additional charge. Portable projection screens can be placed in rooms that do not have built-in projection screens.

John Muir Lodge

Wheelchair Accessible The John Muir Lodge was originally built in 1965 and remodeled in 2001. The lodge retains the beauty of the original knotty pine interior and a stone fireplace, yet has all of the comforts of the 21st century (air conditioning, central heating, handicapped accessibility, etc.). The lodge can accommodate up to 300 people for a large meeting, but smaller groups of 25-50 people are comfortable meeting there as well. By the beautiful stone fireplace is a wall-mounted projection screen (9' x 12'), as well as a sound system and a VCR/DVD player. The lodge can easily accommodate two smaller groups of 25-50 people working independently of each other. Smaller groups often prefer to move out onto the spacious exterior deck overlooking Bear Creek.
