A high school for students who choose to be committed to honor, leadership, post secondary ambition, and service.
La Sierra Military Academy

La Sierra Military Academy La Sierra Military Academy (LSMA) was established in 2000 and is a state-approved free public charter school governed by the Tulare County Office of Education. LSMA provides a rigorous academic education in a strict military environment. It is one of three Military Academies in California and is open to students in grades 7-12.

La Sierra Military Academy welcomes students who want to become better leaders while serving their community and preparing for college and careers - all within an environment that teaches respect and discipline.

  • Advanced Certification Opportunities courses such as Building Trades, Graphic Arts and Printing, and other elective courses are associated with SEE Youth for on-the-job training and career exploration.
  • Advanced Degree Options coursework for students seeking advanced degrees through dual enrollment.
  • Military Training which includes military science, drill, team-building, leadership, service learning, and advanced physical conditioning.

CORE VALUES that develop a sense of brotherhood, self discipline, character and respect for others.

LEADERSHIP to inspire, empower and lead others through promotions and honorary ranks.

SERVICE LEARNING to develop personal honor and pride within the community. LSMA offers courses that prepare students for community relations and service, where students and community members work together to design projects that help students give back.

POST SECONDARY PATHWAYS for students in pursuit of knowledge and talent. LSMA offers multiple pathways designed to help students pursue a post secondary goal.
