Welfare-to-Work ProgramThe Tulare County Office of Education/SEE Welfare-to-Work Program is funded by Tulare County Health and Human Services (HHSA). The primary emphasis of this adult employment service is to return individuals on subsidized income to full-time work. Utilizing federal funds, our participants can secure paid work experience; employers will benefit from supervising and training our participants at a time when they are facing challenging fiscal issues; and our local economy will benefit by our participants being able to provide for their family's needs. Wages will be paid via our HHSA grant. Our participants will work a 40-hour work week and could continue to receive support services (e.g., mileage reimbursement, medical, uniform expenses, etc.). SEE is collaborating with public, private and non-profit sectors throughout Tulare County. SEE has offices serving Visalia, Lindsay, Tulare, Porterville and other outlying areas as well. ![]() Tulare County Office of Education Services for Education and Employment (SEE) 626 North Akers Street, Visalia, CA 93291 Youth Services & Welfare-to-Work (WTW) Programs (559) 733-6730 • fax: (559) 737-4074 |
