Our mission is to cultivate a community dedicated to sportsmanship, leadership, academic excellence, and personal growth through competitive video gaming also known as esports.
What is an esports league?
- An esports league is an organized group of teams that play video games against each other in a structured season.
- Students compete in popular games like Rocket League, Super Smash Bros, and Minecraft.
- Just like traditional sports, teams practice, strategize, and face off in matches.
- Esports emphasizes teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and sportsmanship.
- Regular matches are scheduled between competing schools, ending in a season tournament.
- Games are played on school-approved platforms and devices, with rules in place to ensure fairness and fun.
- Esports provides a safe, inclusive space for gamers of all skill levels to learn, grow, and connect.
- Esports encourage interest in many CTE (Career and Technical Education) pathways including broadcasting, event management, marketing, coaching, and many more beyond gaming.
