Open to students in grades PK-12, the annual Student Art Exhibitions showcases the county’s gifted young artists. From December through March, student artwork is displayed in a public online gallery viewable above. Entries are judged by local artists and select pieces receive a Best of Show award. This year, over 200 pieces were recognized with Best of Show honors. These pieces will be eligible for additional recognition as Best of the Best in Tulare County.
In March, during California Arts in Education Month (AEM), additional videos and digital images of Tulare County students engaged in all five arts disciplines (dance, media arts, music, theatre, and visual arts) will be added to the online gallery. Teachers interested in submitting their students' work for the special AEM exhibition are encouraged to contact Kate Stover at kate.stover@tcoe.org.
