Support Staff Conference May 4, 2022

Central California support staff, join us as the guest of honor for our Mardi Gras celebration. At the 29th Annual Tulare County Support Staff Conference, you'll be pampered with enlightening breakout session designed to support your personal and professional development, incredible food and prizes, vendors, and the opportunity to network with support staff from throughout the Valley!

Keynote Speaker
"The Healthy Humorist®" — Brad Nieder, MD, described as "Jerry Seinfeld with an 'MD,'" is a doctor, funny speaker, and clean comedian. After getting his medical license, Dr. Brad began delivering his unique brand of healthcare humor to people from all industries. He has hosted events for Kaiser Permanente, Phillips, CASA Advocates for Children, Tyson Foods, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Mississippi State University. Dr. Brad also co-authored the book "Humor Me."

NOTE: This event is scheduled to be in-person but is subject to change.

Schedule of the Day:
Visalia Convention Center, 303 E. Acequia Ave., Visalia
7:30 a.m. — Registration and Breakfast
8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. — Conference and Lunch

All Attendees will be subject to state and county guidelines, which may include providing proof of vaccination, a negative test within 48 hours for the event and/or wearing a face mask that covers your nose and mouth.

School appropriate Mardi Gras attire is encouraged. A feathered carnival mask for your eyes will be provided to all attendees. Participants are not required to wear the provided carnival mask.

$55.00 for School, City, and County Staff within Tulare County
$65.00 for All Others — Out of County

Make check/purchase order payable to: Tulare County Superintendent of Schools. Please mail checks to Tulare County Office of Education, Attn: Support Staff, P.O. Box 5091, Visalia, CA 93278. Purchase orders may be mailed to this address, emailed to or uploaded to your online registration. Budget transfer payments accepted for TCOE staff. Credit card payments are available upon request. If you select credit card payment, you must call Marlene Moreno at (559) 733-6302 on the same day you submit your registration to provide your credit card information.  

No refunds will be given to no-shows. Cancellation requests must be made by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20 in order to receive a refund.

Due to COVID restrictions, registration is limited. Register by Monday, April 18 to receive confirmation and a name badge prior to the event. Final deadline to register is Wednesday, April 20.
