Youth Workforce Programs

SEE case managers serve young adults, ages 16-24, providing educational and workforce services through four programs to help successfully guide them into college or the workforce. All services are funded by an agreement with the Workforce Investment Board of Tulare County and offered at no cost to program participants.

SEE serves Tulare County residents living in:

  • Porterville
  • Lindsay
  • Strathmore
  • Woodville
  • Poplar
  • Terra Bella
  • Ducor
  • Springville
  • Plainview
  • Richgrove
  • Woodlake (STEPS program only)

Educational services include:

  • Mentoring
  • Counseling
  • Paid supportive services 
  • Assistance to obtain high school diploma
  • Continuing education

Workforce services include:

  • Job search
  • Resume assistance
  • Career exploration
  • Job readiness workshops
  • Direct job placement
  • Paid work experience
  • Paid vocational training

In-School Youth (juniors and seniors attending Lindsay Unified or Porterville Unified high schools) 

STEPS (young adults with disabilities ages 16-21 attending high school or college)

RESET R2Y (young adults 16-24 on probation)
