Born in Lodi, he grew up in Stockton and later attended college at Fresno Pacific University as a vocal performance major and trained for the 2012 US Olympic Trials for swimming. In his last year of school, he performed the role of Captain von Trapp in Sound of Music, directed by our own Bethany Rader, and that is where he discovered his love for musical theater. He then performed in many productions in the Fresno area with Good Company Players and Stageworks Fresno including West Side Story (Tony), South Pacific (Cable), Into the Woods (Rapunzel’s Prince) and Dogfight (Eddie).
Jordan quickly made his way across the country to Orlando, Florida where he spent the next three and a half years performing at Walt Disney World in shows such as the Voices of Liberty, the Hoop Dee Doo Revue, the Dapper Dans, Beauty and the Beast Live (Gaston), Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration and many other special events and shows.
After his time with Disney he finally arrived in New York City and was immediately cast in Argyle Theater’s production of Legally Blonde as Warner, followed shortly by performing as a singer in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular featuring the Rockettes. While performing at Radio City he got the dream call to join the National Tour of Wicked, understudying Fiyero, and after two months in the ensemble he took over the principal role full time. Jordan continued to perform Fiyero for well over a year and a half and now joins us directly from tour after closing out his incredible run in February!
