The Athlete of Character Award recognizes student-athletes who consistently demonstrate strong character and positive values both on and off the field. This award is grounded in the Six Pillars of Character: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship.

Qualifying Student-Athletes:                                                                                                                              

• Be a 2025-2026 student-athlete at a Tulare County High School                                                     
• Possess a 3.0 cumulative high school GPA
• Exhibit exceptional sportsmanship and leadership
• Demonstrate the Six Pillars of Character
